Philadelphia’s dense urban landscape presents unique rodent challenges. This role is critical in delivering effective, compliant, and sustainable rodent control solutions using integrated pest management (IPM) techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect properties to identify rodent activity, nesting areas, and entry points
- Install and maintain traps, bait stations, and monitoring systems
- Perform exclusion work, including sealing gaps, repairing entry points, and advising on sanitation improvements
- Develop customized rodent control plans for each client
- Maintain detailed service records and compliance documentation
- Communicate clearly with clients about risks, findings, and prevention strategies
- Ensure all treatments meet local and federal safety standards
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in rodent control or pest management
- Familiarity with urban pest challenges
- Pennsylvania pesticide license or willingness to obtain
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $40,000 – $50,000 per year
