The company provides scheduled pest prevention services, termite inspections, rodent control, mosquito reduction programs, and seasonal treatment plans for homeowners and residential communities. Due to increased customer demand during the summer season, No Bugs is expanding its Dallas residential service team and is seeking reliable field technicians who are comfortable working independently while maintaining strong customer service standards.
This role is suited to applicants who enjoy hands-on outdoor work, customer interaction, route-based service work, and problem solving. Previous pest control experience is helpful but not required for applicants with strong work ethic, clean driving history, and willingness to complete company training.
Position Overview
The Residential Pest Control Technician will travel to scheduled customer appointments throughout the Dallas metro area to inspect homes, identify pest activity, perform treatments, and provide preventative recommendations. Technicians are responsible for maintaining service quality, documenting completed work accurately, and following all state and company safety procedures regarding chemical handling and pesticide application.
This is a field-based position involving daily driving, indoor and outdoor work, attic and crawlspace inspections, and regular customer communication.
Core Responsibilities
- Complete scheduled residential pest control appointments efficiently and professionally
- Inspect homes for evidence of ants, roaches, spiders, rodents, termites, mosquitoes, wasps, fleas, and other common pests
- Apply approved pest control treatments using company equipment and state-compliant procedures
- Explain treatment plans and preventative recommendations clearly to customers
- Maintain accurate digital service reports and treatment documentation
- Operate company vehicles responsibly and maintain assigned equipment
- Respond to follow-up service requests and customer concerns when required
- Identify potential termite or structural pest issues and escalate findings appropriately
- Follow safety procedures regarding pesticide storage, transport, and application
- Maintain professional appearance and communication standards during all customer interactions
- Participate in ongoing safety and compliance training
Required Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment screening
- Comfortable working outdoors in Texas weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable attendance and time management
- Basic smartphone and mobile app usage skills for route management and reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous pest control or route-service experience
- Texas pest control technician license
- Experience using backpack sprayers, bait systems, or rodent exclusion tools
- Sales or upselling experience in home services environments

Work Environment
Technicians regularly work outdoors in heat, humidity, and changing weather conditions. The role requires driving between appointments, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders when necessary, and entering attics, garages, crawlspaces, and exterior treatment areas. Safety procedures and protective equipment are required during all treatment applications.
